Sector Interest Group

The Sector Chief Methodology is a process by which our INCMA Chapter organizes itself in order to better reach the critical infrastructures of its community and to facilitate more efficient communications, and to build trusted relationships. Leaders please visit our
SIG Portal for more information.

The basic premise is that the members of the chapter are classified by their sectors. One or two (Public/Private) members serve as Sector Chiefs. The communications of the needs and concerns of the sector is expedited by the Sector Chiefs who act as the liaison between the members of the sector and the Chapter Leadership to include the FBI.

Sector Chiefs will meet on a small workgroup basis and more frequently than the General Membership along with their committee members. Therefore, members need not wait for the quarterly meeting to discuss issues with their Board Members or their FBI Coordinators.

Our current leaders for Sector Interest Groups (SIGs) are up and running for Telecom, Public Health, Banking & Finance, Emergency Services and Information Technology. They are organizing for future events, meetings and developing an SIG tool kit for future leaders to jump-start their own SIG.

We would now like to call to action anyone else who is interested in getting more involved in small group initiatives focused on your specific industry sector. We are seeking committee members for the following sectors: Telecom, Public Health, Banking & Finance, Emergency Services, Information Technology, Energy, Water, Defense, Chemical, Agriculture, Transportation, Law Enforcement, Government, Postal & Shipping. If you are interested in joining or assisting a committee, please contact Mary Goff, our FBI Coordinator with your area of interest and we will make sure that you are directed to the correct SIG Leader.
