The National Capital Region consists of eleven local jurisdictions, two states and the District of Columbia. There are 231 Federal departments and Agencies. The Metropolitan Washinton Fusion Center is designed to provide a system through which government, law enforcement, public safety, and the private sector can come together with a common purpose and improve the ability to safeguard our homeland and prevent criminal activity through local and regional analysis of data.
InfraGard is organizing a Sector Interest Group (SIG) to support our coordination strategy with the WRTAC. This continues our ongoing efforts to increase "Situational Awareness" and a common Information Sharing Framework in the NCR through our WashingtonDCFirst (dot) org initiative. Furthermore, to elevate the vigilance and crisis response by our 1000+ local vetted members in the Nations Capital.
The SIG continues to demonstrate how your private sector company may qualify to participate with the DHS Fusion Liaison Officer Program in collaboration with the WRTAC in the NCR. For more information please contact the FBI Coordinator and they will make sure that our WRTAC Program Director contacts you directly.
